People have a lot of comments on Best Behavior

I'll respond now:

"Good God! What the hell is with you people and your obsessive description of facial expressions"

I like facial expressions.

I like people who can show a lot of emotions with their faces.

"i would buy all of your books if i had any money."

I would more books if I had money.

"i still live in youngstown and the government supports me because i am a crazy person"

The meek shall inherit the earth.

"good good."

Thank you Alyssa

"noah i read it in one sitting. i've always loved your books. i felt really moved by this."

Kendra, thank you for providing the best scene in the book.

"If you want me to be a bit meaner, this could probably do with being proofread closely, as there's two chapter sixes."

When things are free, they don't get proofread.

"You should come to Canada"

That sounds like a good idea. Can I get a talent visa?

"i guess, but that my come from a bias towards print over internet. owell."

Andrew, I like print books. But you can read this in the bathroom on your phone.

"I'm about three quarters through this and it's the best thing I've read all year. I couldn't put it down but I had to go to work."

I just took my dick out and rubbed one off to that comment.

"you fingered an older woman on a bus, funny, weird"

The meek shall inherit the earth.

"I saved it to my flash drive and also backed it up by sending it to my gmail account. Now, I will always have the first draft of Best Behavior, even if you take it down again, like you did with the Insurgent."

The first draft of the insurgent only like three people have, tao lin, antosca, and chapman. The first draft is forty pages longer. The first draft of Best Behavior is like fifty pages longer. Tao and chapman only have the first drafts of it. I have the gmail chats that correspond with the writing of EEEE EEE EEEE, for 20,000 dollars I will sell them to you. If you want the actual first draft of best behavior i'll send it to you.

"Great story. This is the most devastating criticism yet of the vapidity, immaturity, stupidity and general idiocy of the literary crowd around Tao Lin - the degenerates Gorrell, German, and Malone; the psychotic Kennedy; the pushy and obnoxious Taylor and Antosca; etc."

I don't know if it shows the idiocy. All of them are college educated or are going or will be going. I think they are just young. I have no doubt when you encounter
any of those people when they are 35 years old they will have their lives together and be highly functioning people. Even with most of the people in Youngstown who were young and behaving badly. You could read The Sun Also Rises and assume the same things about them. You could read On the Road and assume those things. But most of the people in those novels had their shit together when they got older. And most of them had jobs and were doing things to stay alive. But it would have been boring to describe Nick Antosca at work all day sitting in his office doing mundane shit. Or Justin Taylor teaching at a local college, then going home and grading papers. "Justin Taylor gives Judy Greyhouse a B."

"You are a really great writer. I hope that you can use that gift to continue to spread love and peace in this world rather than more violence and hate. Seems like you're doing a great job so far."

Thank you, I'll keep trying that.

"Please write more about the childfree. I'm sick of being told that I'm purportedly selfish because I haven't spawned especially when this sort of remark comes from certain dopes who didn't exactly put much thought into becoming parents."

I will end up writing about that forever because everyday that passes I keep not getting anyone pregnant.

"sometimes while at the register at work,"

That sounds really cool.
