Gilda

I watched the movie Gilda last night. It reminded me of those old movies and books I've seen, Casablanca, Jane Erye, Tale of Two Cities, Great Expectations, It Happened One Night, All This and Heaven Too etc.

And then I saw unrequited love in the show LOST this week.

Unrequited looks really fun.

There is so much suspense, it gives one something to think about, it gives life drama.

It seems like it would be really fun to stand on a corner waiting for a bus, or driving to work, or walking down the street with the moon shining on a winter night thinking about The Person.

It would be fun to see The Person on accident, and your looks are so awe struck, stunned, in love says the face.

To fight for years and in the end embrace each other.

To sit drunk in a bar playing He Stopped Loving her Today on the juke box.

That's my parents song. Which creeps me out.

Jenny passed me by for years, and I really had to evaluate who I was over and over again. It was probably a good thing.

Now, I always tell her that I won.
